We
slept well last night in the Royal Pavilion Hua Hin in
Hua Hin.
Pia is still quite bothered by a cold.
Breakfast is just as reasonable as yesterday.
Because of Pia's cold and because of the heat outside, we decide to go to a shopping mall
today, so that Pia will at least suffer less from the heat.
But first we go to the daily market to see if there is anything for sale that we can and
want to take with us to the Netherlands.
If so, we will buy it on Thursday morning just before we drive back.
Something that we see in any case, and can also buy now, is dried fish and shrimps.
In the end we buy more than four kilos.
When we look further, we also see pla sarit, e-salted and dried fish, but we do not want to
buy that now, we cannot keep that fish until we are back in Bangkok.
Then we look around extensively in the shopping centre, Market Village, and we also buy the necessary items, placemats, a kind of toiletry bag, natural product ointments, some clothes and of course something for the grandchildren.
We don't feel like eating there, we drive back to the hotel and look for a place that looks reasonable, Tawan Restaurant & Bar, where we eat rice with phat bei krapaow and fried rice with naem. It tastes better than expected.
We rest in the hotel until the worst of the heat has gone and then go for a drink. Where we wanted to go, Sea Side Restaurant Hua-Hin, is closed today and that's why we walk to Chomkluenwaan, where we first only wanted to have a drink, but we also go for a meal there.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
